The Vigor Vitality program is designed to increase hormone levels naturally through weight lifting, give the exerciser a feeling of increased strength, provide more energy daily, and increase quality of life. There is an abundance of research available regarding the benefits of exercise to the aging body. We follow these guidelines to better assist you!

THE PROGRAM
The Vigor Active Movement Specialists follow science based programs published by the top accredited personal training commissions (NSCA, ACE, ACSM) for safety and effectiveness. This program will address sarcopenia, bone density, lack of cardiovascular fitness, muscle imbalance correction and flexibility issues. In order to accomplish this, we recommend muscle toning plus endurance and strength protocols, programmed cyclically. Nutritional guidelines for the aging body are very different from youth and middle ages, therefore guidance on making the necessary diet changes will be advised.
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Vigor Active Biomechanics Specialists will thoroughly assess the body joint-by-joint to identify your biomechanical imperfections, and will correct these issues through specialized training. The exerciser will feel less tension and greater ability to move pain free. It is recommended that the Vigor Body or Vigor Vitality program be adopted after correction as a maintenance program.

THE PROGRAM
The Vigor Active Biomechanics Specialists follow science based programs published by the top accredited personal training commissions (NSCA, ACE, ACSM, NASM) for safety and effectiveness. The program will highlight techniques to strengthen the weak musculature and stretch the tight musculature using the JANDA method. These muscle areas usually oppose one another so as one side of your joint is strengthened, the other will be stretched for optimal balance.m
WHAT TO EXPECT
The program's specific purpose is to tone the body, while eliminating fat and creating long lean muscles. Research has proven that programs designed which lightly load the body with weights while performing higher repetitions during exercise, will lead to rapid weight loss and muscle tone.

This program will address body composition, lack of cardiovascular fitness, muscle toning and development and flexibility to create longer more visible muscles. Nutritional guidelines are essential for success in this program, therefore guidance on food science will be advised.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Strength training is designed to maximize your nervous system activity and also increase muscular size. Research has proven that strength training can also improve bone density.

THE PROGRAM
The Vigor Active Movement Specialists follow science based programs published by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) for safety and effectiveness. The exercise prescription will begin with lower loads and higher repetitions and will transition to heavier loads and fewer repetitions over time to allow for the body to properly adapt without injury. Many programs out there today cause injury because they rush the programming, ours will not!
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Vigor Athlete program aims to improve the muscular strength and power needed to perform at a higher level during competition. Heavier loads, Olympic Weight lifting techniques, speed training and plyometrics will be incorporated in these programs.

THE PROGRAM
The Vigor Active Strength and Conditioning Professionals follow science based programs published by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) for safety and effectiveness. Founder Stephen Newhart has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) for 10+ years and designs the Vigor Athlete programs based on this material. Periodized programs targeting muscular strength, power and speed will be utilized. Nutritional guidelines for sport performance will be recommended. We recommend that athletes utilizing this style of training should not engage year-round and should include an “Off-Season”, as recovery is necessary.
